Brands Hatch sold
The Brands Hatch group of circuits incorporating Brands,Oulton,Cadwell and Snetterton have been sold to a company headed by Jonathan Palmer, the ex formula one driver.Hopefully this means continued motorsport at these venues rather than the rumoured redevelopment for housing.

Re: Brands Hatch sold
According to Anglia news the object is to use Snetterton for corporate motoring events.

Terry lets hope he uses Oulton to its full potential as many a rider has quoted its their favourite circuit.

Re: Brands Hatch sold
Agree 100% Pykey, Oulton park was definately the best mainland circuit and everyones favourite until.

At least that was until they started messing around with chicanes.

Re: Brands Hatch sold
Its good that these circuits seem to have a more secure future for motorsport, but the new owners have a strong commitment to four wheels rather than two,I hope that tarmac and barriers dont start to replace gravel and bales...

Re: Brands Hatch sold
No.! But what a housing developement site, its been tried before as has Snetterton and i believe its only a matter of time for both. No not a pessimist but a realist.

Re: Brands Hatch sold
Oulton will be safe ,it is the only one that makes money .corporate days are allways booked up .What the circuits have lacked over the years ,has been management.any big meeting has been a shambles.to much has been spent inside circuit, nothing on outside.example.1 mile walk from outside of old hall,to paddock ,two many decisions made at b hatch concerning local isues, locals not informed of meetings taking places ,lots can be made good with little capital outlay.I wish the new owners every succes, keep the jewel in the crown,OULTON.CHEERS BARNESIE.
