What do you have in your shed ? (And keep it to bikes)
I mentioned in my Birthday Post yesterday that I have a YDS3 and  YM1, both in near enough original condition now, although I am getting ready to do some re-work on the YDS3 Chrome-work.

It set me wondering just what bikes you guys have hidden away in your sheds/garage (or even living room), and if you would like to join in a thread that shows all the others who are on the Forum, just what an assortment of bikes we all own.

I will start this off with a pic of my two Yamahas, both 1965 registered, with the 305cc YM1 at the front and the 250cc YDS3 to the rear.

Found these pics this morning (Monday 2nd November)

My wee 350cc Ducati, with Nigel Lacey innards, and a Nova 5 Speed Close ratio Box with Dry Clutch (42bhp at the rear wheel), Grimeca 4LS Front Hub.

The bike in the background is Larry Devlins Ex Hans Otto Butenuths Beemer. (Sounds amazing)

My FZR400, with Rathall tuned engine(s), and a 6 speed NOVA Close Ratio box. (81bhp at the rear wheel), Maxton front & rear. Plus lots of other Mod'd bits.

RE: What do you have in your shed ? (And keep it to bikes)
The 305cc YM1 bike that Yamaha produced between 1964 & 1966, (using lots of parts that were used in the YDS3), was a competitive bike against the Honda CB77 that also had a 305cc engine, (based on the 250cc CB72 Honda), that was produced from the early 60's until 1967.

Most likely simply Japanese Manufacturer competition for a certain section of the market.

Both of them good for 100+ mph (Marginally).

Like M78 I've loads of DIY stuff plus all our camping gear for the Manx/Classic TT. Bike -wise I have a Kawasaki er6f road machine, a Triumph Tiger Cub trials bike and two BSA B50 road racers. One of the B50's is ready to go but, sadly, there's nowhere for it to go!!! The other B50 is almost ready to go.

I have a Moto Morini 3 1/2 Sport, a 250 OSSA Gripper trials bike and most of a D1 rigid frame Bantam (someone stole the engine out of it when the family was at the TT years ago...

Sadly none of them running and I lack the funds to get them going and the knowledge to do it myself...Needs a lottery win Icon_cry

Honda 350 K4 race bike that I restored

Yamaha TZ/RD 350 hybrid race bike that I'm restoring

Royal Enfield Continental GT535 - to go to the cafe on

Suzuki GSX-R 1000R - the latest Gixer thou is a stunning bit of kit (especially for a pensioner like me🙂)
I like classics, but modern sportsbikes are absolutely brilliant

My garage is a tip, but I thought I'd show it anyway!!
Think there's a secret 50s/60s Bobber/rocker vibe going on!!
Couldn't decide if I wanted USA or UK rock & roll!

Wink  RE: What do you have in your shed ? (And keep it to bikes)
After about 20 years of not having a bike I jumped in last year and bought a 2015 DR650 which I've been modifying and adding bling to get to adventure bike spec.  Once you get about and hour out of Brisbane there's more dirt than bitumen.  Took this picture on one of the rare muddy days - usually dust is the issue.

Getting another bike was one of the best things I've done in the last few years.  Met a bunch of local enthusiasts on Meetup and we get in an overnight ride about once a month - with a bit of a break over summer / Xmas.

I had a photo in my garage but it was such a tip I decided not to include it Icon_lol

Cheers

Sam
