Could not wait any longer, Just had to go. Just returned from the island , Have been over for what would have been practice week and part of race week, What a week!! stunning weather and very busy. Worth the hassle of all the paper work !!!, Nice to see other like minded people had the same idea, Feel a bit better now, Roll on next year, hope they can get things sorted in time for the tt. cu there.

My wife and I are off to the Island on Sept 17th from Liverpool for the End to End Walk on the 19th. I can't wait to get back there, I'm even looking forward to the walk. I wonder, are any other forum members taking part in the E2E? If so let me know and we'll attempt to meet up.

Just to let you Know if you have any driving to do on the island give yourself plenty of time,,, ROAD WORKS seem to be everywhere, and i suggest you give the prom at Douglas a wide birth its chaos//, If you can, leave the docks on peel road/ quarter bridge road and mind the queue going into Mc donalds ??? seriously though it was great to get back on the island, Good luck with the walk...

Many thanks HS. We'll be taking our car over as my wife will be supporting me during the E2E. Ironically my recent memories of the front at Douglas are dominated by roadworks, so no change there then!

If your  travelling over to the Isle of Man for Manx Grand Prix 2022 I hope that you all enjoy the road racing and have a great safe time, even though its been reduced down its still always a great event and very good for the Island.
