I was thinking that, Rutolander.
We're going for race week, so, if I paid for it I would only have the use for practice week.
But then I thought, if we had it trackside it would give us something to watch after the bikes had gone through, being as there's only 50 starters for the big races, there could be quite big gaps before the aces come back round.
I think I'll wait to see how it works out during practice week & any problems are ironed out.
I assume you will only be able to receive TTLive on your network mobile device when you are out round the course unless you are in a pub with a wifi connection. Anyone have an idea of the amount of data that will use up for approx a 2 hour connection ?
Just had a quick skeet & depending on the resolution offered (maybe you will be able to reduce it?) it looks like medium quality is around 700mb per hour, high res (1080p) around 2 - 3gb per hour, I could be way out, but it's the best I can find at the moment.
(just seen all or most, of their youtube vids are 480p, so if the broadcast is the same then you may be looking at 700mb)

If you've paid for TT+Live, all races and practices will be available indefinitely on that platform.

I'm not sure if it's indefinite, but they are saying you can re-watch any time in the next 12 months.
My guess is that the 2022 review will be added to those already on the platform (I think they go back to 2009) once it is released and the "live feed" streams will then be taken down when TT 2023 starts and those one go live.

Why not just order Duke's video tape (he he!) of the TT while you're there?
Part of the TT fun for me was doing that at the shop and waiting patiently until a couple of months later
for it to drop through the letterbox.
Joking apart, their Blu-Rays of it recently have been excellent, so that might be an idea. A shame they're not into 4K discs yet,
but I'm sure it won't be long.

Semantics? I was never keen on their music, when they were New, in the early '80s, all that Duran Duran & Human League, much preferred Deep Purple & what have you.

You're getting genres confused, New romanticism and punk are very different , like comparing apples with oranges. Either way, I'd prefer Deep Purple with maybe a little King Crimson thrown in for good measure.
I rather thought there'd be some exclusive content to encourage the purchase of the Live subscription, but no. It will be a mad rush on the day I imagine sending their server into meltdown.
I bought a new 15.6" Asus Oled for this, reproduction is staggering. There's a 30 second delay on the live stream for obvious editorial purposes so my intention to have Manx radio running lowly, may not be the best idea.

You're right there probably will be a rush on the day. Because it's year 1, and there has been no action for 3 years, there isn't really anything that warrants charging. I believe that after the TT has finished there will be other paid subscription content in the manner of the "F1 Drive to Survive" and "Moto GP Unlimited" type thing.
