Dry and bright with some sunny spells this morning, just a few isolated showers possible later in the day and tending to be cloudier this afternoon. Still rather breezy, with a fresh to strong southwest wind veering westerly later. Top temperature 17°C.

Fingers crossed it all goes off OK. I'm heading back to Sarah's to watch

Cold wind hear today excollier. Lot less people sat round the corse this morning. Not so many bikes on the road

I guess many have gone home or are going today

We always stay for a couple of days after the racing and I always find it amazing how quickly the island empties of bikes.

I'm booking flights for next year. Ferry prices are extortionate. One of my pals will take bikes over in his van, mind you fuel might be £10 a gallon?

Anyone booking for next year should note the extended schedule planned for six out of eight days, including the senior on the Saturday.

I haven't been to the TT since 2006 (fortnight as a marshal in perfect weather, Rhencullen) - not sure I'll ever be back either

I booked my ferry for the Friday and found out later the Senior is on the Saturday.
I will try to change it.
