Its been shut for nearly 3 years, now it looks like it the end!

Sad but village shops cannot compete with supermarkets.

Our families used to camp at The Claddaghs in 70's and early 80's school hols 80's, we'd put the tents up for school hols and leave them there, very happy memories of walking/cycling to Raymond's shop for sweets and supplies ...... and being honest looking at other historic Manx buildings that get left to rot/ruin/fire i'd be thankful that something positive has been done with the building going forward.......pretty sure there's lots of people that would love to live in a house on that site.
