I read this last night. Sad but not surprising. I fear the ugp will be consigned to the history books.

Superb event, one that I'm lucky enough to have attended many times over the years.

Tandragee off too I think (road resurfacing woes). No road racing whatsoever in Eire neither this year.

That leaves only the nw200, armoy and cookstown for this year's Irish road races.

This has to have an affect on Irish teams that had the national road races as their bread and butter.

The best years are behind us I fear.

I honestly thought the insurance problem was being resolved & the Ulster would have been in with the NW200 & others, with a kind of block insurance policy.
Such a shame.
