Yes, RIP DJ, gone but never forgotten. Big man, big talent, big loss.
I recall, we were sailing out on the Friday after and the shocking news knocked us all sideways.
It were a somber TT that year. Not taking anything away from any others though.

I'm proud to say I got to see him race and break the lap record.
The TT was at it's lowest ebb and his performances dragged it back into relevance.
Sorely missed.
