Captain wins! It is indeed the excellent Aberdare Park. This year it's on August 3rd & 4th if anyone wants to check it out.

The "Celtic" landscape & foliage made it look very Manx!

I was TT lost trying to figure where Lougher would be out from behind the screen on a 125 on the run towards Ramsey or the climb towards Gooseneck

For context the shot of Paul Owen is the entrance to the bend Lougher is coming out of - taken from exactly the same place

I think we were all confused given we assumed it was the TT.

As there isn't much happening at the moment, I've found an image to hopefully work your brain cells!  It is not a racing shot but it does have a link to the Island.  The picture is of the now defunct Ramsey Steamship Company's vessel Ben Varrey.  The question is, where did I take the picture?  There's a clue in the image - good luck!

It looks like the Severn Bridge in the background, so Bristol Channel?

Looking at the old Severn Bridge being nearer of the two suggests Sharpness where she did grain deliveries to/from.

Cheers, keeps the grey matter ticking when you're trying to get rid of the after effects of a bad dose of covid, donated by a friend who insisted on sitting next to me when obviously ill.

I honestly thought that would have troubled you guys for more than 5 minutes!  It was taken from Sharpness. 

No fun having covid at all, never mind this time of year.  In august 2020 I bought a slide/neg scanner with the intention of digitising my old film stuff, which would have provided loads of material for this thread, however, it's still in the box unused.  I must try and get it set up at some point.

I have a few scans from my old scanner, so I'll post a few of those where I can remember who the rider is!  So, who, where, when?

It is Steve Johnson. My family used to 'babysit' him back in the 60s when his Dad Eddie was busy with race stuff. I can't remember the exact circumstances but I'd hazard a guess that Eddie had a bike to rebuild and needed some space! From memory he used to race a 250 Suzuki.
