Stumbled across a jigsaw

Bike looks right (and boots) but leathers, number and lid aren't

I think the jigsaw may be referring to a different rider, although the bike looks the same.  Whether it was a different rider or they've made an error, I couldn't say.  I may have it wrong too but the results from the year in question support my memory as Charlie O'Neill wasn't in the results!  So. I'm going to say not him and not 1989!

Must admit, when I couldn't place the pic I 'google lens'd it & came up with the same answer, but didn't want to 'cheat', as such.

unless, just thought of this while typing...it's a recent Classic TT entry in an authentic retro style!!

I see your thinking Captain.  However, I'm too old and fat to hike up to the corner in question these days...  For the photographically minded it was shot on Kodak Ektachrome slide film using a Minolta XD-5 with Tokina AT-X 50-250mm lens.  It isn't a recent parade or classic race!
