Classic TT
Hi, can you tell me if in the event that racing is cancelled, for any reason, on Friday 29th August will it proceed to run on Saturday 30th?

Hi Trig & welcome to the forum!
There's no mention of a contingency on the official website, there are other contingency days mentioned tho'.

RE: Classic TT
No mention of a contingency day on the Saturday when I updated the schedule thread in this section.

Normal problem on going on beyond the final day is sufficient qualified marshals still on the island.

If the forecast is awful for Friday they may bring the final day's racing forward to Thursday.

Ok thanks. I see it looks the same sort of layout for the main TT but I always remember booking crossings to allow for the senior TT to run over to the following day IF it was necessary. Have they done away with that kind of facility now then? Or maybe my memory has just failed me ......... again Smile)

RE: Classic TT
I've not heard of any contingency options in recent years for end of race week.....it naffs me off a little because they faff around on race days with delays / lap reductions but if it was a qualifying session earlier in the week they'd cancel it totally.
