Take a look at the amount of work to reconstruct the Terry Vinicombe 1968 750cc TT winning outfit. It must have been soul-destroying for the owners to see what little was left after the NMC fire. Short circuit for the Isle of Man (front page story) - what again!!

Those pictures almost reduce me to tears. That outfit and Slippery Sam were the two most important bikes in that place, for me, and they were both substantially destroyed. I wish the Picketts good luck in their restoration, and admire their dedication. I look forward to seeing the BSA when its finished, but in some place where fire regulations are a bit tighter.
