Well, unfortunetely , as the newcomers is only for 250 - 1000 I wont be able to join you on my 125 , Ill have to do the 125 race. Phoned the ACU last week to see about international non-championship licence and they told me that the eyesight test I had at the start of the season would be fine .Phoned them again for confirmation that eyesight test is ok (cos theyre buggers for telling you one thing over the phone and then deciding something else when you send your application in)and , surprise, surprise , yes its perfectly ok for a national but not good enough for an international. So went down to opticians to book another test and they managed to fit me in this afternoon and , my eyesight seems to have improved and I passed ok . Faxed results through to ACU for confirmation and Im waiting for reply . Booked my medical, but cant get in till 7th August.Went to see sponsor about paying for boat fare . Answer, Yes .Just got to screw the bike back together and get the van Mot'd now and then its back to the 1986 video to see where everything goes . See you at the Ulster everybody.
