Reflections on Macau
Has anyone else had any thoughts on how well Macau runs their show?

In my opinion the IOM tourism people could do well to study all aspects of the
Macau festival since Macau is also out of the mainstream and there are many parallels with the IOM.

It is not cheap to get to,
The racing is for specialist classes.
The circuit is unique and challenging.
It is promoted for the racing and the festival that goes with it.
The event makes a large contribution to the local economy.

The Macau website is also an object lesson on how the TT should be reported.
They already have the usual high quality photo gallery up with video clips.
The site seems to be run by the organisation not by commercial interests.
The multilingual audio link is also pretty good.

Have they ever thought of racing scooters on the island?
They appear to be going pretty quick in Macau.
