Godfrey, I don't think we can compare a motogp with the TT, as much of a rip off it is getting to the IOM the TT is UNIQUE without doubt.
However there are more and more bikers,spectators etc who are more concerned with cost than spectacle and I'm sure by looking at the Moto gp calendar, which i haven't , it would be possible to take a fortnight off work, take in 2 (euro)moto gps and maybe either a wsb, european championship round, or even one of the National events in a european country. Get to see most of europe, do a lap or two of the old nurburgring circuit (thats your mad sunday)and I bet it wouldnt cost much, if any more than a fortnight on the IOM?
