Helen, about 35 years ago a guy in Dunbar had an ex Mac 500 manx. It had a Joe Pots engine; it was a short stroke job with an oval flywheel to make room for the piston at the bottom of the stroke. If I mind rightly it was not a featherbed frame? I’ll bet he wishes he had that now.

It will be interesting to see if anyone can add to that.
