TT Memorial Wall
This weeks MCN (yes I read it sometimes) has a fairly scathing letter with reference to the new TT Memorial Wall and one can see his point in the cold lght of dawn. However do we really want a wall like the Viet Nam one in Washington DC which has all "the fallen" etched in long panels.

We are led to believe that people can purchase a plaque which will have the name of the rider they have picked to be remembered....In this way there unfortunately will be glaring gaps.

Or is a mere wall enough to remember ones own loss. Who remembers our rider Chris Horn who lost his life the same year as Les Graham ? There are dozens of riders who were classed as programme-fillers who deserve as much as the top riders, surely.

I would like to suggest a "book of honour" which has every one who is represented by this wall inscribed within so we can at least remember the many.

Or do we have to PAY to have our riders names displayed ?
