The other thing worth noting about Les is that his real road race achievements were totally unsupported by AIM - so he was a true privateer in every sense of the word at the TT and NW200.

I feel his TT performances seem to be getting overlooked somewhat because a 121mph lap on a Superstock bike as a newcomer is sensational and he deserves all the recognition in the world.
