Michael Rutter will return to the TT this May. This is excellent news for fans, and I am sure will open up more debate about who will be the Centenary winners.

Although his last TT was in 2000, I am sure he hasn't lost any of his edge, ad he will be keen to add to his 1988 Junior TT victory. With several other top 3 finishes, he has a long way to go to match his Dad, Tony, who won 8 times.

I was lucky enough to arrive at the Tourism and Leisure office at the same time as Michael recently, and was delighted to hear he would be racing this TT. He says he is looking forward very much to the races.

Let's hope the other surprises in store for us are as exciting as this.
