The photo of of him at the bottom of Bray Hill crouching jockey style in the 57 Senior with all the sinews of his neck muscles at full stretch, will live with me for ever.
In fairness some of the modern day photos such as Martin Finnegan at the bottom of Barregarrow are quite extraordinary, and I'm sure will "do it" for today's youngsters in just the same way.
