As Mr Jefferies said, the people usually fixing things for the best at one place just move the problem further down the road, and make the next corner even worse than before. A bit like asylem seekers... :wink:

Loved the old photos, and its amazing how little has actually changed. The biggest change I noticed was... of course... no pub at the Bung. Guess they only survived on passing trade.... or when the horse got a little tired it was somewhere to stop over :wink:

Well my only point is, machines change, the riders change, the speed changes a nd the course changes. The three things that don't change.... the weather, the loe for the racing and least of all the consistant incompitance of the Steam Packet. So all in all it evens out quite nicely.
