Allan Bell (The Treasury Minister) says the Manx Grand Prix is on.

The announcement was made after a special meeting of the Council of Ministers earlier today.

He said that after a full and extensive debate today, the council made the decision to allow the racing to continue.

Racing will start on August 18 as planned, but with restrictions being imposed by the government.

The majority of sections of the Mountain course will be closed to spectators.

Disinfection stations for marshalls are to be installed.

Farmers are required to maintain "safe" zones/ areas around the sides of the circuit.
