Very good supporter of the bikes on the Island is Norman. Had the privilege to be speaking to him at Sulby Bridge one evening watching practice for the MGP in 2003. Sorry to admit I didn't know who he was. He came across as a very unaffected man and full of enthusiasm for the racing. It seems he is one of many come-overs who have made a real contribution to the community, unlike the famous others who come solely for economic reasons.

"Age is opportunity no less
Than youth itself, though in another dress,
And as the evening twilight fades away
The sky is filled with stars, invisible by day."

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
