While I'm pleased we didn't lose anybody I'm not going to hurry to slap too many backs just yet. As I'm sure we are all aware, a crash on the IoM is a lottery between bruises, breakages or worse. ANY crash must be considered, there but for the grace of etc, not only fatal ones. To really understand safety you need to consider the crash rate per 1000kms and the causal factors for each crash. Before you know it somebody'll be putting it all down to the course licence.
