RE: tt on itv 4

Note for Duke and many others - these programmes, involving camera crews, directors, commentators, scriptwriters et al are TOTALLY FREE-TO-VIEW because they are done through a proper commercial organisation, who take the long view, not an all-too-common TT six inches in front of the nose one.
I hate that I have been turned into some sort of Duke apologist - but I have to respond to this drivel.
This History of the TT on ITV4, the one made by Isle of Man-based Greenlight (the company supplying video for TT Live), is it anything like the History of the TT DVD sold by Duke which was made by Greenlight and is, in fact, a longer version of the TV programme?
And TT: the Race That Time Forgot, the other ITV4 programme, doesn't it look suspiciously like TT: A Film Documentary, made by Duke and Greenlight in 2003, with director Andrew Stickland, who was also the director of another Duke/Greenlight production last year 'TT: Centenary Celebration' presented by Murray Walker?
when I say it looks suspiciously like it, I actually mean a heavily edited version of it which ignores DJ's crash - which the DVD doesn't.

And before you moan about having to pay for the DVDs, let's not forget these are programmes 'involving camera crews, directors, commentators, scriptwriters et al'.
Counting down the days to TT09!
