Petrol Tank Breather
Afternoon All,

I'm new to this forum and the Manx GP, so Hello!

I'm after some help with getting my bike ready, namely the petrol tank.

I'm riding a 2006 R6, which has a breather and an overflow going from the petrol cap recess down through the tank to the underneath. I've cut the lip out from inside to allow me to fit as much fuel in as possible, something 17 and a bit litres.

I've blocked off the overflow, and put a check valve in the breather line so that air can only flow in, rather than petrol out.
The trouble is, when the tank gets warm, it pressurises.

Do I need to worry about this????

Cheers,

Paul Welch
