Nastiest, coldest, wettest race I ever rode, Bill.

Thank God it was shortened to 3 laps!!!!

Mind you, that was still 113 miles . . . . . . . .

I think you'll find your Allen Burt Ulster photo is from 1958, not '59.

?No 64 on 350 AJS or No 67 500 G45 Matchless?

Retired in both races.

As you said, finished both TT races, and had finished 15th in the North West 350 also that year.

Didn't come back in '59 - wasn't entered.

Rode North West back in 1955 (4th in the 350 on a 7R AJS). Practiced in the TT (Junior & Senior entries) but fell off in practice and started neither.

Went home and didn't return to Europe until 1958.
