Tomorrow afternoon on Radio 4 is a play about the TT called the Racer. The programme starts at 2.15pm.
The Sunday Telegraph's preview states:
"It's the smell of Castrol R that apparently most evokes the Isle of Man TT Races, which are the subject of Kevin fagan's drama. Interviews with competitors and their families are melded with poetic narrative in this unusual hybrid. Paul McGann plays the racer, a man whose marriage and sanity have been destroyed by his obsession with two wheels. The bikers' gallow humour comes across nicely: 'Life's danderous-you've got to live life'"
