I am sorry to hear the news about Jamie Whitham having to give up racing because of illness. Im sure he is absolutely gutted by the descision. I wish him well in whatever he decides to do. Hopefully he will remain in the sport in some capacity and we will continue to see him around. He does have a company, with others, that runs track days called Speedfreeks. Perhaps he will concentrate on this.

Jamie has been one of the most exciting racers ever, to watch and follow at both world level and in the domestic championships. His style of riding with his chin sticking out is unique and great to watch. Has anybody ever tried this? Its needs big bravery.
