You are dead right that is the reason for this thread because nobody outside of the IOM can contemplate what is going on. For my part I see the name (or brand) of the TT being prostituted by a pack of amateurs. First they called a short circuit race at Billown a TT just to shut up the whingers that the real TTs were becoming all the same and boring. Now they let some guy who nobody knows come along and hoodwink them into allowing some sideshow to be called a TT which in the meantime is upsetting everyone left, right and center. But when you ask "What's going on over there?" there is a deafening silence from those in positions of authority. These same people who have previously been so quick to scotch any out of line comment on this and other sites. Their silence in my opinion confirms that they share the consensus opinion that although most people are interested in alternative energy solutions this event is so poorly thought through that it is fast becoming something of a joke.
