The Mountain Road will close between the Barrule Park, Ramsey and the Creg-ny-Baa at 10am on Saturday to prepare for the TT races.

It will reopen later in the day as a one-way road – southbound in the direction of the course – and will remain one-way until Monday, June 15, when the road will close at 10am and reopen later that day as a two-way road.

On practice days the road will close one hour earlier than the rest of the course to allow for cones and signs to be removed. And it will close 30 minutes earlier on race days.

The road will then remain closed after the practices and racing until cones have been replaced.

To aid traffic flow on the Douglas to Ramsey coast road there will be temporary parking restrictions in Onchan and Laxey.

The timings of traffic signals will also be changed to accommodate the heavier traffic flow in Onchan during the one-way system.

The road from the Creg Ny Baa to Hillberry and Douglas will remain two-way.
