The racing has been awesome Don. Absolutely staggering and a real classic. But if you get my point that without the crowds (and the money) then the TTs future could be bleak. The organisers do their best to sell the racing, but ultimately people want to have a good time too. I don't think the TT should be sold as a family event (and I am a family man) simply because there are too many better alternatives.
On another note, or should that be another thread (?) I never went in the 80s so who was Linzi Drew?
