RE: Meetings Clash ~ TT & Moto GP
The thought that crosses my mind is that if the TT were to have fixed dates there may be an outside chance of other events working around them,as it is TT week moves every year.

This year TT fortnight began on May 30th,next year May 29th,the year after May28th etc and I don't think other event organisers are either aware of or even care about the TT.

There are simply too many countries vieing for a Moto GP round and who are prepared to throw huge sums of money around to get the event.

That said, as previously mentioned, the TT is without doubt a specialist event and will IMHO still attract a band of dedicated followers. However the real problem is getting the new blood to come, you can do Moto GP in a day but the TT really needs to be your annual holiday. Now if only it were cheaper to get here......................
