Well, sadly, Don is correct... there are about 100,000 "bikers" outside, many have not idea there is racing going on inside... and a few days before the "Pros" show up, there are a whole series of races all week, of which I have had the pleasre of (my bike) racing in the Vintage AHRMA events. And the last few years, I put pals from England on my bike as I think it nice to give someone from there an inexpensive chance to say they raced at Daytona..! One of the issues around Daytona is they have a lot of the activities and Vendor booths outside the track (no entry fee), so there is no incentive to pay to get in to the track.

OK, so in the end, it is all about how good the promotors are at getting people TO the races. The IOM is FREE once you get there with more racing and other activities than one can possibly take in..!!

3 weeks until first MGP practice, and my bike is still not ready... oh my......!!
