Busy night at the Gooseneck. Jochen Trockel lost the front end on the first lap of the second session - fortunately at pretty low speed - but as Mark Woods was right behind him he couldn't avoid going down too. Steve Linsdell stopped the Paton with mechanical problems as did Bob Farrington on his 500 Honda.
