Lift off for Gilera!
With the help of the Laxey crew of the Isle of Man Fire Service, a Gilera 4 was safely transported up to the Hodgson Loom Gallery at the Laxey Woollen Mills, ready for the Saturday opening of 'A picTTure captures a moment in time', the 2010 TT/MGP photo exhibition. The Gilera is one of five built by Dave and Mark Kay of Sandhills, near Walsall, and was kindly loaned by Rupert Murden.
The exhibition is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday through the TT period; we will also be open on Mad Sunday. Plenty of parking, no admission charge but we will be rattling the bucket in aid of the MGP Supporters Club Helicopter Fund.
The Vintage Motorcycle TT Rally Run on TT week Thursday will be starting from the Woollen Mills Car park
