Obviously, the best (and only, in my opinion)way to run a parade lap is to see ex TT riders on ex TT bikes. But I'm quite happy for either the bike OR rider to have a TT connection.

And I certainly don't consider being an MCN reporter as having a TT connection.

I agree also that, it would be nice to see where the money for MotoGP riders comes from. I'm sure seeing MotoGP stars makes lots of the spectators happy, they just dont do anything for me personally.

I assume the appearence of MotoGP riders gets the TT (and IOM PLC) a lot of 'free' publicity in the M/Cycle press.
