Laxey TT/MGP Photo Exhibition for MGP festival
Can we also add that our 3rd annual TT/MGP exhibition will also be open during the MGP fortnight.
'A PicTTure captures a moment in time" will open from Monday to Saturday during the MGP in the Hodgson Loom Gallery, Laxey Woollen Mills, Glen Road, Laxey, from 9 am to 5 pm.
In addition to 200 interesting, information and occasionally amusing pictures covering two, three and four-wheeled motorsport on the Island (and occasionally from other sporting centres in the British Isles), we are showing a short film of the 1957 Senior TT, when Bob McIntyre lapped the Mountain Course at over 100 mph for the first time, on a Gilera-4.
There is plenty of good parking and free admission, but you will be encouraged to drop a donation in the green bucket for the MGP Supporters Club Helicopter Fund.
In addition, Eddie and Rosie Christian will be displaying our last years pictures in the marquee at the Sulby Glen Hotel during the MGP fortnight.
I'm on the Great Flapjack Foray of Life - can't you tell!
