Michael Rutter will start from pole position for the second race of the day at Silverstone after winning the opening race of the day and setting the fastest lap of the race onboard the Ridersmotorcycles.com Ducati.

Rutter moves up the order to displace race one pole-sitter Josh Brookes who will start from third on the HM Plant Honda, with Michael Laverty between the pair in second and James Ellison climbing up the order to complete the front row for Swan Honda.

Alastair Seeley is another rider to gain positions as he moves up to head the second row from fifth alongside Tommy Hill in sixth, Ryuichi Kiyonari who drops back to row two in seventh and Loris Baz in eighth for the Motorpoint Yamaha team.
