Better late than never - Florian Camathias raced a Gilera-engined outfit in the 1964 Sidecar TT. The problems already mentioned dropped him to 15th at the finish. His passenger for that race was Alfred Herzig.
Just back from Jersey - nice little place but why buy an R1 where they have a maximum speed limit of 40 mph!
