Fans will have the opportunity to meet four of road racing’s biggest names throughout January who will tour Northern Ireland’s Vauxhall dealerships to celebrate the car giant’s title backing of the 2013 North West 200.

Ulster stars Michael Dunlop and Ryan Farquhar, plus English top guns John McGuinness and Michael Rutter will visit Vauxhall dealers around the country from next Monday, January 14, to Thursday, January 17.

Dunlop recently joined six-times North West winner and Isle of Man legend McGuinness in the Honda TT Legends squad to set up the prospect of a mouth-watering clash between the old master and young pretender this season.

Both men will lock horns for the first time on the official Honda machines at the North West in May.

Rutter, the second most successful NW200 rider of all time with 13 victories – two behind Ballymoney hero Robert Dunlop – will also ride for the Honda TT Legends team this year.

Farquhar retired from road racing following the death of his uncle, Trevor Ferguson, at the Manx Grand Prix last August but will remain in the sport as he returns to manage a team.

The Dungannon man may have hung up his leathers, but his desire for victory against the big factory teams will burn as fiercely as ever.

Farquhar completed a clean sweep of the Supertwin races at the North West, Isle of Man TT and Ulster Grand Prix in 2012 and his Kawasaki ER6 machines will undoubtedly be the bikes to beat on the international stage this season.


Fans will also have the opportunity to have their picture taken with the riders on the 2013 CBR1000RR Honda Fireblade – the official Superbike of the North West 200 – that can be seen in action in its new TT Legends livery for the first time in the UK on the Triangle circuit.

A range of Vauxhall North West 200 prizes will be up for grabs during each visit and event director, Mervyn Whyte MBE, will also be on hand to answer questions and queries.
