RE: Perfection in a Bottle - Perfection on two wheels.
As many people are aware , Joey Dunlop Foundation was established to provide accessible holiday accommodation for people with a wide range of disabilities.
With facilities being described as the best in Britain , demand has far exceeded our wildest expectations and in order to avoid disappointment especially for people with short life expectancy we have decided to build two more apartments.
We are a small committee and it has become apparent that as we approach our 60's we are no longer capable of spending 12 hours a day on our stall and decided we needed to research a one off .
The idea of the whisky was first discussed in early 2012, after extensive market research and meetings with the various regulators , the team gave the approval to Ralfy of http://www.ralfy.com to source a unique and special brand of whisky.
Like many of you , we were very disappointed that we were unable to find an Irish based distillery or supplier that would supply what is a small consignment of whiskey, therefore we had no option but to purchase whisky.
Why is the cost £45.00?
We needed to purchase a quality blend , however as JDF is not Vat registerred we are unable to recover the Vat.
Already TT is looking extremely busy for the JDF Team, this whisky is a one off and never to be repeated again so plus support JDF and not knock the people who are prepared to work extremely long hours for Joeys charity.
