The bus drivers’ strike is going ahead the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure has said.

Bus Vannin drivers will stage industrial action for 12 days from May 25 until June 5, coinciding with the TT festival.

A proposal that would have ended the strike action was rejected by drivers in a ballot that concluded on Friday afternoon.

A new TT bus and rail timetable taking into account the strike has been released.
