Next year’s eagerly anticipated Adelaide Blackhorse Motorcycle Festival has been confirmed
for February 7-9 at the King’s Hall Pavilion in Belfast.

The event, organised by Billy and Marty Nutt of Nutt Promotions, is entering its 19th year and 2014 will be the eighth time the motorcycling spectacular has been held at the iconic Belfast venue, where former North West 200 and Ulster Grand Prix clerk of the course Nutt is expecting another sell-out show in the New Year.

“We will be staging the festival for the second time in the King’s Hall Pavilion. Last year it was packed to bursting point at times, the festival attendance was one of the biggest in recent years and as the festival was such a success I’m sure the thousands of fans who turned out last year will come again this year,” Nutt said

“The hordes of fans, who came from far and wide last year, was good news for exhibitors who reported high levels of business and that has convinced the vast majority of them to return in 2014.

“Manufacturers who have already booked their spaces include Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, Ducati, KTM, Yamaha, Victory, Indian, Honda and Harley Davidson.

“The ever-popular auto-jumble will return and there will be a large display of Classic and Vintage motorcycles,”
added Nutt.

“The motocross village will be back again and there will be loads of other outside activities and entertainment.”

A host of motorcycle stars are expected to attend the three-day show and Nutt confirmed fans can look forward to a ‘world class’ line-up in February.

“Of course both tarmac and off-road racing fans will travel to the show to with expectations of seeing the stars of motorcycle sport and the latest racing machines and they will not be disappointed,” he said.

“We intend to have the latest competition machinery and an array of world class riders who will mingle with the fans. We are currently talking to many racing stars but until the World Superbike and MotoGP testing schedules are finalised we can’t confirm a definite list of riders who will be able to make it to Belfast.”
