Tyco Suzuki rider William Dunlop and his Buildbase BMW mounted brother Michael Dunlop, will headline the official launch for the 2014 KDM Hire Cookstown 100 Road Races – tonight [Thursday, April 3rd] in the Royal Hotel Cookstown from 7.30pm.

The event will be hosted by well-known commentator and Chairperson for the 2&4 Wheel Motorsport Steering Group Limited, Alan Drysdale. Tyco Suzuki team manager Philip Neill will also be in attendance alongside a number of local competitors and race sponsors.

Feel free to come along, lend your support and fire questions at the riders, sponsors and team owners prior to the KDM Hire Cookstown 100, which opens the National Road Racing season in Ireland on April 25th & 26th.

It promises to be another exciting race weekend at Orritor with full grids and a top-class entry, which will be announced in full tomorrow evening from 7.30pm at the famous Royal Hotel in Cookstown.

Just to whet the appetite for the April 26th KDM Hire Cookstown 100 feature race – the entry includes the Tyco Suzuki and BMW entries from the aforementioned Dunlop brothers William and Michael.

Add to that high-profile newcomer Dan Kneen on local man John Burrows’ Cookstown B.E. Racing Suzuki, Shaun Anderson on the CN Racing Suzuki, Michael Pearson on the Northern Escalator Installations Kawasaki, Derek Sheils on the CD Racing ZX10R Kawasaki and Jamie Hamilton on Wilson Craig’s Honda Fireblade – and we are in for a real high-octane treat of pure road racing Superbike action.
