Friday - Lightweight Race - Report, Results & Pics

The weather is looking really good this morning and both races today should go without any interference.

It has been announced that Michael Dunlop has withdrawn from the Lightweight Race.

09:55 - Riders all starting to line up on Glencrutchery

10:15 - And the race is GO, with Ivan Lintin leading off down Glencrutchery.

Next is Hillier, then goes Farquhar. 4, 5. 6. & 7 don't go.

There is big gap back to the next starter who is J Hamilton, and Keith Amor, next goes Cooper and Cowton.

Different colour machine and lovely noise from the Paton as Olie Linsdell sets off.

Reported that Ivan Linton has stopped out at Union Mills.

Glen Helen - Lap 1

First through is Hillier with Farquhar following. A gap to Hamilton and Amor comes through, Next it is Cooper being caught by Cowton. Harrison comes through close behind Cowton. Next is Johnston. Linsdell goes through in front of Barton.

Hillier is first through on the road, with a gap to Farquhar. Next it is Hamilton, then Amor comes through.
Next in is Harrison, Cooper and Cowton follow him through the hairpin
Lee Johnston and then Olie Linsdell are next. A gap to Barton and next is D Johnson and a gap to Russel.

Hillier is away, Farquhar is away. Hamilton comes in to the pits, Amor is in for a fill. Harrison is in, Amor is away, Cooper comes in, Cowton goes.
Lee Johnston retires.

It is Hillier who comes through first, a big gap back to Farquhar, and another gap to Hamilton and Amor together, Harrison following. Cowton and Cooper are through.
Next it is Linsdell, a gap to D Johnston, and then its Russel followed by Barton, next is Stephenson,

Paul Owen retires at Ramsey

First at the hairpin is Hillier, next to come through is Farquhar a long way back.
Now its Amor and Harrison together, then its Cowton.
A long gap to D Johnston, then its Russell.
Barton goes through and then its Stephenson. Danny Webb goes through in 15th place.

Coper goes through. A gap to Linsdell
