I believe it's done on choice in order of the fastest race lap.

So from the top 20 Bruce as outright lap record holder has first choice, then MD, McPint and so on (Conor, Hutchy, Hillier, Guy, WD, Cam, Rutter, Gaz J, Deano, Keith Amor, Ryan, Dan Kneen, David Johnson, Hicky, Dan Stewart, Steve Mercer then Lee Johnston).
