I think it was last year when they put the slideys out first in one session as the weather had ruined most of their practice during the week. And if I remember correctly, they repaid that gesture by leaving an oil slick most of the way around the island, killing off the solo practice sessions that followed).

The sidecars went out first on the Thursday. They had just over an hour, but about half an hour was lost due to a red flag to get an ambulance to a civilian. The solo session went out afterwards but the weather was a factor - only supersport and lightweights were out. They ran until about 9pm.
