i believe the rules are you can make 1 change to the entry be it either the rider can change or the same entered rider can change his machine once but i would think he still needs to get the correct amount of laps in on the bmw but there is always the special dispensation rule
big big praise must go to stuart hickens team for stepping in at such short notice but something tells me plans were in place in case the r1 didnt go well straight out the box
