Sponsorship is a vital key in all branches of Motorcycle sport. Ever since the Banning of Tobacco advertising, Motorsport in general has suffered, so any sponsorship received, no matter how small, or how large, is very much appreciated by those involved in the sport. Here at the Cookstown and District MCC, We are indebted for the continued sponsorship of KDM Hire as Main sponsors for the Cookstown 100 road races. 2016 will be KDM Hirestores 4th year of continued association with Irelands oldest and longest running road race ( the Cookstown is the oldest road race in Ireland - older even than the Ulster Grand Prix. Both were first held in 1922, but Cookstown is four months older than the UGP!)

With the closing date  for entries Monday 28th March,  The club are happy to say, that to date, over 150  entries have been received for the 18 race programme.

The Orritor circuit, used for the KDM Hire Cookstown 100, has been passed fit for racing by the MCUI Roads Inspection committee. This enables the Club to continue their progress in the organization of this years race, which is just 6 weeks away!
